How to add or delete client notes in the client profile.

Overview

Within every Client Profile is the ability to add or delete specific Client Notes. Use this to enter private text or a file attachment that will be date stamped and saved to the individual Client Profile. There are two sub-sections to the client notes area, Medications, and Allergies, which you can use to track per individual when applicable. Client notes (all sections), like Scheduling Alerts, are internal only and are only visible to staff members who have access to client profiles.

Client Notes are commonly used for:

  • Color formulas

  • Client preferences

  • Medications

  • Allergies

  • Photos

  • Documents and files

  • Progress notes

There is not a character limit for client notes.

NOTE: Must have the “View Client Notes” privilege enabled to view notes in a client’s profile.

Adding a Client Note

  1. Open the customer's Client Profile and navigate to Client Notes under the OVERVIEW tab.

  2. To add a general note, click the NOTE tab and add the desired text.

  3. To add notes on MEDICATION or ALLERGIES, click on the tab and add the desired text.

  4. To upload a file, select the paper clip icon (optional). Select the file from your device to upload.

  5. Click Save.

NOTE: Must have “Create and Modify Client Notes” enabled in privilege groups to add or edit a client note.

Deleting a Client Note

  1. Hover your mouse over the box of text to delete.

  2. Click the trash can icon that appears on the right.
