Overview
The Boulevard Professional App is available in the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad and Google Play for Android. The app allows service providers to manage appointments, client information, chart and check out on the go.
Boulevard Professional is designed to complement, not replace, the Boulevard dashboard. All changes or additions made in the app will instantly be updated in the dashboard.
Minimum Operating System (OS) requirements for smartphones and tablets:
Android 6 or above
iOS 15.5 or above

Settings
Individual settings are accessed by the settings logo at the bottom right of the screen. Available settings include:

Viewing Appointments
Calendar view
To change the view of the calendar, tap the date at the top of the calendar. For an individual staff member, the calendar can be viewed as a schedule (list), single day, 3 days, and a week.
If you select too many service provider or resource calendars to view at once, you will not see the 3-day or week options.
View another date
To select a new date on the calendar, tap the date at the top of the calendar. Swipe through or use the arrows to select a new month. If you want to quickly jump back to today’s date, select “Today”. When viewing the calendars of multiple staff, you can only view a single day. If selecting a single staff member, you can view either a single day, 3 days, or week view.
Staff and resource filters
To adjust which staff calendars are visible, select the filter icon on the top left side of the screen. If you perform services, it will be defaulted to “me.” If you do not perform services, it will be defaulted to “is working.” You also have the option to view 'everyone' who works at your location. You can select and deselect staff members and staff roles, and search for staff members by name. Similarly, you can select which resource calendars to view.
Editing Appointments
Tap the appointment you wish to edit
To edit the appointment time, tap the pencil icon
To adjust the day, select the date at the center top of the calendar to pick a new day. Swipe or use the arrows to navigate.
To adjust the time of day either drag and drop the appointment to the desired time on the calendar, or type in the time.
Tap Save
To edit the services in the appointment, tap anywhere in the services box
Make any additional edits to appointment then tap Save changes to lock in the update. You'll see the option to send an updated confirmation to the client.
Adding Appointments
To add a new appointment:
Tap and hold a place on the calendar or click the + button at the bottom right, then New Appointment.
Select the client and enter the appointment details.
Click Save when finished to complete the appointment creation.
Adding Time Blocks
To add a new time block:
Tap and hold on the screen OR click the + button at the bottom left of the screen.
Click Block time.
Add a reason for the time block (recommended).
Choose the start date, time, and duration.
Click Save to add the time blocker.
Editing and Removing Time Blocks
Tap the time block
Adjust the name, reason, date, time, or duration and tap Save.
To remove, click the three dot menu in the bottom left corner and select "Delete time block."
Client Profiles
Within the Boulevard Professional App, you can view and update client contact information, and also easily call, text, or email clients. You can also view and modify client forms, charts, and gallery.
You can also add notes to the client profile, including photos or file uploads. (To add a photo in notes, you must enter text into the text box first before the box pops up to "attach image" to that note).
NOTE: SMS text messages and emails that are sent through the app show as being sent from the personal mobile number and personal email of the sender.
Staff Performance Metrics
If given access (via privilege group settings), you can see an overview of your performance for any given date range by clicking the graph icon at the bottom of the screen.
The totals shown in this area are total, gross, and sales (so the numbers do not take the staff members' commission into account in this data). They can see their total appointments, clients, utilization, prebooked %, and service/product/gratuity sales.
These metrics refresh at the same frequency that beta reports refresh (currently not instant, but every ~2 hours).
Landscape mode (Tablet only)
NOTE: The Professional App can viewed in landscape view on an iPad only.
You must have the rotation lock button disabled on your iPad (see Apple support).

Updating the Professional App
To update your app (often recommended if you're having issues!) head to the app store listing page for your device, and select "update."
To update iPhones and iPad apps, head to the Apple App Store.
To update Android devices, head to the Google Play Store.
