Tags

Steps on how to create and add tags to appointments, orders and client profiles.

Overview

'Tags' is an umbrella term that covers Client Tags, Appointment Tags and Order Tags. All tags can be highlighted with an emoji icon, and certain appointments or clients can be labeled. Tags can also be applied as a filter in orders and certain reports. Tags can only be added on an individual basis.

  • Client Tags - Added in the Client Profile (attached to individual people)

  • Appointment Tags - Added to appointments (attached to individual visits)

  • Order Tags - Added to orders (attached to individual orders)

First-Time Tag Creation

Before they can be used, Tags must be created at the business level.

  1. Head to Business Settings > Tags > Create Tag.

  2. In the Create Tag window, name the Tag, select a corresponding emoji, then click Create Tag.

  3. Repeat for all additional desired tags.

Adding a Client Tag

  1. Navigate to the Client Profile.

  2. In the Overview tab, scroll through the right-hand menu and find Client Tags.

  3. Click Add Tags, and select the desired Tag(s) from the list to assign them to this client.

  4. Click Save Changes when complete.

Adding an Appointment Tag Prior to Checkout

  1. Single-click an appointment to add Appointment Tags in the preview window OR navigate to the Edit Appointment window.

  2. Under Appointment Tags, click Add Tags, and select the desired Tag(s) from the list to assign them to the appointment.

  3. Click Update Appointment when complete.

Adding an Order Tag At Checkout

  1. Once you've finalized a transaction, click Add Tags from the Order Tags section of the Checkout window.

  2. Select the desired Tag(s) to assign them to the order.

  3. Click Done when complete.

Adding an Order Tag After Checkout

  1. Navigate to the Order, and locate the Tags section.

  2. Click the plus sign, and select the desired Tag(s) to automatically assign and save them to the order.

Using Tags

From the Tags tab in the main Business Settings, click View under the Clients section or Sales section in the tag row you'd like to see. Depending on which you click, the results show you all Clients or all Sales that have been tagged with the corresponding Tag.

Tags can currently be applied as a filter in the following places:

The Tag Summary Report shows all tagged appointments and retail-only orders ('Products') during a specified date range.
