Overview
The gift card redemptions report provides a summary of used gift card balances. By default, this report includes every individual gift card redemption, location of purchase, and redemption location.
Default Metrics
Metric | Definition |
Gift Card Redemption ID | ID of the gift card redemption |
Gift Card Code | Code associated with gift card |
Purchased Client Name | Name of client that purchased the gift card |
Redeeming Client Name | Name of client who redeemed the gift card |
Purchased Location Name | Name of location the gift card was purchased at |
Redemption Location Name | Name of location the gift card was redeemed at |
Redeemed On | When the gift card was redeemed |
Redemption Value | Value of the gift card redemption |
Customization Options
Cross-Location Redemption and Reconciliation
This is the best report to track cross-location redemption, which helps in monitoring cross-location reconciliation. Group report data by Purchased Location Name, group rows by Redemption Location Name, and add Redemption Value as the only column. This helps to identify where the gift card was originally purchased and where the value was redeemed.
Additional columns
It’s recommended to add additional columns for the following metrics:
Active (if the gift card is still active)
Order Note (note for the redemption order)
