How to use the client & audience tab

Overview

The list of clients associated with your business can be accessed by selecting the clients tab from the main navigation bar. From within this tab you can apply client filters, merge client profiles, export your client list to a CSV file, and add new clients. Audiences can be created and saved from within the audience tab. Once created, you can easily create a one-time blast campaign with one click.

Client List Filtering

  1. From the Clients tab, click +Add Filter to apply filters to your client list.

  2. Select the filter category to apply.

  3. Select the logic (i.e. was or was not, more than, less than, etc.). The logic varies depending on the filter category selected.

  4. Click ‘Add filter’ to apply more than one filter category. This creates an AND between filters allowing you to stack logics. For example, Service received was X AND Product purchased was Y.

    NOTE: Add filter creates an AND = This logic tells our system to show you contacts who meet all of these conditions. Ex. All clients who visited in the last 60 days AND visited more than 5 times.

    Choosing multiple services, providers, products, or locations creates an OR = This logic tells our system to show you contacts who meet 1 or more of your conditions. Ex. Any clients who saw Marli or Sherry.

  5. Click ‘Apply’ when complete.

  6. To save the filtered client list as an audience, click ‘Save as audience’. Add an audience name and click ‘Save’.

Client List Export

After the desired list has been filtered (if applicable), click Export current list to download a CSV file with a list of client names that will include their first and last name, mobile number, and email address.

Audiences

Audiences provide you with the ability to create more granular client lists to provide you with more powerful segment creation for marketing blasts.

  1. To create an audience from the Clients tab, click Create Audience to open audience filters.

  2. Select the filter category to apply.

  3. Select the logic (i.e. was or was not, more than, less than, etc.). The logic varies depending on the filter category selected.

  4. Click ‘Add filter’ to apply more than one filter category. This creates an AND between filters allowing you to stack logics. For example, Service received was X AND Product purchased was Y.

  7. Click ‘Create Campaign’ to open Boulevard’s Marketing Suite and quickly navigate to one-time blast campaigns.

Rename, Export, Delete Audiences

To export, rename, or delete an audience click the three-dot menu next to the audience and click the action you wish to take. Once an audience is deleted, it cannot be undone.
