Overview

Boulevard Marketing Suite helps you keep in touch with your clients and increase overall revenue and appointments through beautiful, branded email campaigns sent directly from the Boulevard dashboard. Read on to understand what can be accomplished with Boulevard Marketing and the types of campaigns you can set up.

Privileges

The Marketing dashboard can be accessed in the new Marketing tab found at the top of your dashboard.

Only users who have at least one Marketing Privilege set to Enabled are able to see and access the Marketing tab. To access, navigate to the Privilege Groups section of your Manage Business settings. Enable the privileges under the “Marketing” section.

Once the Marketing Privileges are enabled, you are able to access the Marketing tab. If there are no activated campaigns, you see the welcome message which walks you through creating your first Boulevard Marketing campaign.

From here you are able to view and build all of your Marketing Campaigns. To begin setting up a campaign, choose between Blast Campaigns or Automated Campaigns.

If you do have campaigns previously or currently enabled, you see a summary page including basic stats and campaign reporting to give you a snapshot of how your campaigns are performing. From this dashboard view, you can always click “New Campaign” to start a new Automated Campaign or Blast Campaign from scratch.

Automated Campaigns Overview

Five automated, always-on, recurring campaigns are available for you to choose from, each with a different focus to help you engage and retain your customers. They take the guesswork out of build, targeting, and cadence, are easy to set up and require minimal maintenance.

Automated campaigns cost nothing to set up and start running, but you are charged $2 for each completed appointment that was booked within 7 days of the automated email having been sent. In automated campaigns, we only charge you for bookings that result in a completed appointment, not for emails sent.

  • Fill slow days - Promote days where your calendar has open appointments to keep schedules stacked

    • Designed to automatically review a service provider’s calendar and send emails to clients that are the most likely to book based on Boulevard's campaign optimization. This campaign evaluates availability 7 days in advance and email clients to increase your bookings. Enter the availability threshold to determine when emails should be sent.

  • Reminder to book - Remind your clients to book their next appointment

    • Keep clients coming back by reminding them to make another appointment after a determined period of time. This campaign only emails clients if they don’t have an upcoming appointment. Boulevard sends emails to clients after a specific number of days who haven’t rebooked their next appointment.

  • Rescue lost clients - Win back clients who haven’t visited in a while

    • Retain clients by automatically messaging those who haven’t hadn’t an appointment in a certain number of days since their last visit. Enter the number of days after their last appointment.

  • Last-minute opening - Give clients first dibs on an appointment when your calendar has a last-minute opening.

    • Designed to automatically review a service provider’s calendar and send emails to clients that are the most likely to book based on Boulevard's campaign optimization. This campaign evaluates availability 2 days in advance and email clients to increase your bookings. Enter the availability threshold to determine when emails should be sent.

  • Birthday message - Say happy birthday to your clients on their special day!

    • Automatically send a message to clients to incentivize them to book services for their birthday. This campaign sends to clients who have a birthday saved in their client profile on a specific day before their birthday (ex. 1 week before).

Blast Campaign Overview

Blast campaigns are perfect for ad-hoc, one-time email or text sends. The messaging, branding, target audience, and send a day is up to you. You can build your own custom email or text, set up your desired audience, and schedule your email or text marketing campaign. Email blasts are perfect for communications like newsletters, promotions, important announcements and business notifications, and more! Text Marketing is great when you need to reach your audience quickly and directly with time-sensitive information, such as flash sales, event notifications, or urgent updates.
