Once your ePrescribe Prescriber is set up, your staff can create and manage client (patient) prescriptions using the Dashboard and the Professional app.

Accessing ePrescribe Management

  • For location-level ePrescribe management, select “Open” on the ePrescribe location page.

  • For client-level management, go to the Client Profile, select the Clinical tab, and then choose “Manage Prescriptions”.

Client Profile Requirements for Access

To manage a client’s prescriptions on the Clinical tab, the client profile must be complete with the following information:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Date of birth

  • Sex assigned at birth

  • Address (maximum 40 characters)

  • City

  • State

  • Zip

This information, plus medication and allergy notes can be collected via intake forms and prepopulated in staff charting using connected form fields. To enter their current medications and allergy history into ScriptSure for safety checks while writing prescriptions, see this support article: ePrescribe: Adding Allergies and Current Medications.

Note: You can only create prescriptions for clients within the United States.

Prescriptions and Allergies Management

Select a client to manage their medications & allergies, and go to the Clinical tab of the client profile.

To enter their current medications and allergy history into ScriptSure for safety checks while writing prescriptions, see this support article: ePrescribe: Adding Allergies and Current Medications.

To write a new prescription for a client, select “Manage Prescriptions” to open ScriptSure and search for the drug you would like to prescribe. If you need help with the prescription process, refer to ScriptSure’s support center.

ScriptSure Access Note: Staff without ScriptSure access will not see the Prescriptions and Allergies sections of the clinical tab on the Dashboard or in the Professional App.

Assistant: Request to Write Prescriptions For Prescriber

As an Assistant, you can create and manage prescriptions for a prescriber. Once you are set up as a user, open ePrescribe on the location page or from a client profile.

Head to the “Current Provider” menu to select a Prescriber and/or request access from Prescribers to support them. For more details see ScriptSure support article: Add Supporting Users & Prescribe Permissions Under Prescribers (Prescribe Using Permissions)

Information Syncing & ePrescribe Logs

Data Syncing:

All location, staff, and client data in Boulevard must match the ePrescribe data. The system automatically syncs this information when a staff member accesses the ePrescribe screens after an update on the Boulevard Dashboard or Professional app.

Logs of user actions in ScriptSure are tracked in ScriptSure’s Practice Reports.
