Manage ePrescribe Locations & Staff

How to adjust locations and staff members that have access to ePrescribe

Manage ePrescribe locations

If you have access to Manage Business > ePrescribe, you can manage the locations where ePrescribe is set up.

Each location is listed by name and displays the total number of associated prescribers.

Note: The prescriber list for a location under business settings does not include staff configured as assistants. You can go to Manage Location> ePrescribe to view all staff (including assistants) at each location.

The location status indicates whether the ePrescribe setup process is complete.

  • Completed: The location setup process is finished.

  • Pending: The location has not yet finished the setup process.

Note: Locations not listed have not been invited to use ePrescribe.

You can filter the location list by status: all, completed, or pending.

To revoke ePrescribe access for a location, contact help chat. You must have the "Admin" ePrescribe user type to remove a location.

Manage ePrescribe staff

If you have access to the ePrescribe page under Manage Location, you can view the staff members configured for that location.

Note: If you are not an ePrescribe admin, you can only view staff. Admin status is required to edit and manage ePrescribe staff.

The location's ePrescribe page lists staff by first and last name, showing their assigned role (Prescriber or Assistant) and admin access level (Admin or Non-admin).

You can filter by Role (All, Prescriber, or Assistant), Status (All, Completed, or Pending), and User Type (Admin or Non-admin).

To remove a staff member from your ePrescribe location, select the action menu and select “Remove access.” You will see a modal indicating which staff and location is removing the ePrescribe seat. When you select “Deactivate” the staff member will no longer have ePrescribe access at that location. However, the staff member may still have ePrescribe access at other locations.

When deactivating a staff member from their profile page, "Admin" user type is required to remove them from ePrescribe as well.

Information Syncing & ePrescribe Logs

Boulevard location, staff, and client data must match the ePrescribe data. Updates made in the Dashboard or Professional app sync automatically when staff access ePrescribe screens. Boulevard medication and allergy notes can be populated by connected form fields, and flow into charts. For more information on inputting medication and allergy information into ScriptSure for safety checks when prescribing, see ePrescribe: Tracking Client Medication and Allergies.

Scriptsure has Practice Reports that log all staff activity in their platform. See this ScriptSure support article for more information: How to View & Generate Practice Reports.
