A Staff Role, unlike Privileges, is a person's job title at a business. Every person is assigned to one Staff Role. Proper assigning of Staff Roles is crucial because the Staff Role determines if that person provides services, can be booked online, and which services that Staff Role can perform.
Adding Staff Roles
Before adding an individual employee, first, create his or her role at the business. From the main business page settings (gear icon) go to Manage > Staff Roles > New Staff Role and then name the role. Check or uncheck the box below the role name to indicate if the role performs services for customers. Complete by clicking Create Role. Repeat this process for all of the roles at your business.
If individuals are assigned to a staff role that does not perform services, that individual does not appear in the booking overlay.
