Overview
Boulevard makes it simple for clients to gift or share account credit with others at your business. This is especially helpful for situations where clients want to give credits towards a future service or cover the cost of another client’s next visit.
Transferring account credit simply moves an existing balance from one client’s Wallet to another—no new payment is collected during this process. The client giving the credit must already have a sufficient credit balance available.
To transfer account credits between client profiles:
Start a new sale assigned to the client who is giving the credit.
In the checkout window, select Account Credit and choose the recipient’s client profile as the one receiving the credit.
Enter the exact amount that should be transferred.
Complete the sale using the gifting client’s existing account credit as the payment method.
Once the sale is finalized, the balance total is deducted from the gifting client’s profile and added to the recipient’s. All balance activity and adjustment history can be reviewed in the Account Credits section of the Wallet tab on either client’s profile.
