Not only did we change the name, but now every type of client payment, from cards on file to account credits, vouchers, and gift cards, is easier to track and manage.

The Payment Methods tab lacked organization and clarity. With Wallet, you’ll experience a cleaner view of every payment method for an individual client. Scroll down to learn more about what’s new.

Cards on file

Before, cards on file were located at the bottom of the page, making them hard to access for long-standing clients with extensive histories. The placement added friction for staff, requiring unnecessary scrolling and slowing down routine management tasks.

Now, cards on file are now surfaced at the top of the page. This change makes them immediately accessible, streamlining access and management. By moving them into a primary position, the experience better supports efficiency and reduces frustration for clients and staff alike.

Vouchers

Before, expired vouchers were displayed alongside active ones, which created clutter and confusion. Vouchers that were granted from memberships or packages were listed out, versus bucketed together, making the list even longer and harder to manage.

Now, Vouchers now appear bucketed by the package or membership they were issued from and expired vouchers have been moved to a separate list, which reduces clutter and ensures the main view only contains usable vouchers.

When expired vouchers are reviewed, they can easily be reactivated and returned to the main list. This shift keeps the focus on current, actionable value while still making expired items accessible if needed.

Account Credits

Before, account credits appeared as the first section within the payment methods tab. The view was limited in scope, providing little context beyond the raw credit balance, and mixed product units with credits in a way that could cause confusion.

Now, account credits now display with greater clarity and detail. The view includes the transaction date, type, location, amount, and updated balance for each entry, offering full visibility into activity over time. In addition, you can view account credits rolled up by grant source with a total amount, giving a cleaner, more transparent summary of how credits were earned and used.

Product Units

The functionality remains the same, but product units, which were previously grouped under “Credits,” now appear in their own dedicated section within the new tab for easier tracking and organization.

Gift Cards

The functionality remains the same, so you can continue to easily track and manage gift card balances purchased by your clients.

Deactivated gift cards cannot be modified
