Overview

Boulevard offers three referral beta reports: Client Referrals, Referral Sources, and Referral Sources by Client. When a client is referred to a business, knowing and tracking that information is valuable. Each report provides a different look at how a client was referred to a business and the revenue generated from different referral sources. Check out Referral Sources for more information on creating and managing referrals.

Client Referrals Beta Report

The Client Referrals report specifically references clients that other clients refer. This is the best report to see which clients are referring clients to your business and which clients are referred by existing clients. The Client Referrals report specifically shows:

  • Referred Client Name - the name of the client who was referred

  • Referred on - date of referral

  • Primary Client Name - name of the primary client who made the referral

  • Lifetime Gross Sales - total gross sales amount generated by the referred

NOTE: You must add a referring client’s name to the client’s profile when adding ‘Another Client’ as the referral source.

Referral Sources Beta Report

The Referral Sources report specifically references clients who completed appointments during the selected date ranges and who have been assigned to a Referral source in their Client Profile. The Referral Source report specifically shows:

  • Referral Source - where referral originated from

  • New Client Count - number of unique new clients

  • Returning Client Count - total count of clients who have previously completed an appointment at a location within the business

  • Service Count - number of completed services done by a staff member within a specific date range

  • Service Revenue - income generated from service sales

  • Product Quantity Sold - total number of products that were sold

  • Product Sales - net sales associated with a product

  • Tips Sales - the total amount of tips that were generated from orders

  • Sales Per Order - average net sales per order

A blank space under the Client column in the Referral Sources beta report represents a referral by 'Another Client'.

Referral Sources by Client

The Referral Sources by Client report specifically references performance metrics by referral source and client name. The Referral Source by Client report specifically shows:
