Booking an Appointment with a Boulevard Business

Booking an appointment with a Boulevard-supported business is fast and easy. With our modern self-booking overlay, you stay on the business site so you can close out the self-booking overlay and immediately be back on the business website.

Booking an Appointment: New Clients

  1. Navigate to the business website and click the ‘Book Now’ button.

  2. If it’s a multi-location business, select the service location from the menu.

  3. Click ‘Individual Appointment’ if you’re scheduling services for yourself OR click ‘Group Appointment’ if you’re scheduling services for yourself, friends, and family.

  4. Select the service category from the menu.

  5. Select the service you wish to book and any add-ons or service modifiers, if applicable.

  6. Click Select a Professional to schedule your service with the professional of your choice and click add.

  7. As a new client, you are prompted to enter your first name, last name, cell phone number, email address, and password.

  8. Select the date and time you wish to schedule your service and click ‘Select’ to continue. If you don't see a time that works for you or your service provider is entirely booked, you can add yourself to the waitlist.

  9. Review your booking details and click next. From the ‘Review Your Booking’ screen you can edit the location, date, or time by clicking the pen icon. To switch professionals, click switch next to the professional’s name.

  10. If you’re a new client, you are prompted to enter your payment details and complete your booking by selecting ‘Book appointment’. If a service requires a deposit, you can then pay and complete the booking. A valid credit card is required to be on file for every appointment booked online.

Booking an Appointment: Returning Clients

  1. Navigate to the business website and click the ‘Book Now’ button.

    1. If you’re a returning client, it’s a good idea to log in here so your personalized settings are applied to your booking experience.

  2. If it’s a multi-location business, select the service location from the menu.

  3. Click ‘Individual Appointment’ if you’re scheduling services for yourself OR click ‘Group Appointment’ if you’re scheduling services for yourself, friends, and family.

  4. Select the service category from the menu.

  5. Select the service you wish to book and any add-ons or service modifiers, if applicable.

  6. Click Select a Professional to schedule your service with the professional of your choice and click add.

  7. If you’re a returning client and haven’t logged in yet, log in with your email address and password. If you’re a new client, enter your email address and click next.

  8. Click next to continue finalizing your booking.

  9. Select the date and time you wish to schedule your service and click ‘Select’ to continue. If you don't see a time that works for you or your service provider is entirely booked, you can add yourself to the waitlist.

  10. Review your booking details and click next. From the ‘Review Your Booking’ screen you can edit the location, date, or time by clicking the pen icon. To switch professionals, click switch next to the professional’s name.

  11. Review your booking details including saved method of payment and payment details. If a service requires a deposit, you can then pay and complete the booking. A valid credit card is required to be on file for every appointment booked online.

Switching the Professional

At the time of review, and only if there is one service selected, you have the option to switch the professional assigned to your appointment.

  1. From the ‘Review Your Booking’ page, click switch next to the professional’s name.

  2. View any other professionals who may be available at the same time that you have already pre-selected. This provides you with options for who performs the service.

  3. Click ‘Update Professional’ and complete the booking process.

Booking Confirmation Email

As soon as you complete the booking process, you are sent a booking confirmation email. The booking confirmation includes the details of your appointment and client instructions for your service. If applicable, a "Complete Forms" button on the top of the email message and '[Action Needed]' is noted in the subject line.

Managing your appointment

To manage and view your upcoming and past appointments, you can:

  1. Access the ‘Manage appointment’ link from your email confirmation.

    1. To reschedule upcoming appointments

      1. Click ‘Modify’ from the Appointment Details page

      2. Click ‘Reschedule’

      3. Select a date and new appointment time

      4. Click ‘Review and Confirm’ to complete

    NOTE:

    1. If you are outside the cancellation window, you need to call the business to manage your appointment.

    2. When you reschedule your appointment, you can only reschedule with the provider you initially booked your appointment with.

2. Access the ‘Your appointments’ link from the self-booking overlay.

3. Or, access the client portal URL that is added to the business website.

View Upcoming and Past Appointments from the Client Portal

To ensure privacy, an authentication process is required to keep your upcoming and past appointment details secured. For secure access, you are prompted to request a six-digit code that is emailed or texted to your contact information stored on file with the Boulevard business. You are prompted to enter the six-digit code. If you do not receive the code, click resend and a new code will be sent to you.

Appointment Details from the Client Portal

Once you select an appointment, you can view the date, time, services booked, and staff members assigned. From this view, you can also confirm and modify your appointments, complete any outstanding forms, add appointment details to your personal calendar, and view location directions.

Outstanding Forms from the Client Portal

You have the ability to complete any outstanding forms through the client portal. A yellow notification at the center of the screen signifies that there are outstanding forms that need to be completed before your scheduled appointment. To complete a form, click the incomplete form to review and sign.

Accessing location information from the client portal

By scrolling to the bottom of the appointment details page, you can also view the business address, contact information, and hours of operation.

Viewing vouchers from the client portal

You can view your voucher balance in the client portal. The portal will display the number of redeemable vouchers, the applicable services, and the expiration date if one has been set. Navigate to the “vouchers” section of the navigation menu, accessible via “Hi, [Your name]”

Once you’ve selected a voucher, you can view the associated membership or package name, the issued date, and the expiration date. If you need to make adjustments to a membership, package, or existing vouchers, contact the business directly.

Access your client profile from the client portal

You can update your personal information and communication preferences from the client portal profile page. Click the edit icon to the right to create and save your adjustments.
