This Payment Processing & Merchant Activity overview gives you a high-level view of how payments flow through your business. Located in the Payment Processing tab, this page is designed to help you quickly understand where your money is, get visibility into your payment processing fees, see when payouts are scheduled, review what activity has recently occurred, connect bank accounts, and view disputes, making it your go-to starting point for all things payment processing.

To access your Payment Processing tab, locate Manage Business or Manage Location > Payment Processing.

Overview Page

This view provides a snapshot of your payouts, including the payout schedule and the option to initiate an instant payout when funds are needed immediately. Below, we’ll take a closer look at each of these features.

Recent Payouts

As a business owner, it’s important to understand when funds are deposited into your bank account and in what amounts. The Recent Payouts section displays key details for each payout, including the payout amount, status, destination bank account, distribution date, and the type of payout associated with each entry.

To view additional details, select View Payouts or navigate to the Payout History tab located above to access a complete record of all payouts. Use the left and right arrows to move between different time periods.

Payout Schedule

Boulevard offers multiple payout options to help align payment deposits with your business needs. The Payout Schedule section displays each business day of the week, the configured payout timing for that day, your business’s close-of-day (batch cutoff) time, and an estimated deposit date.

Payout Options

  • Two-business-day payouts (default)

  • Instant payouts

Daily & Monthly Activity Reports

When you need a detailed breakdown of your daily and monthly transactions, our Daily & Monthly Activity reports are your go-to resources. These reports make it easy to reconcile what’s in Boulevard versus your bank account. Both reports can be downloaded as CSV files, giving you a full view of each transaction and the associated credit card fees.

Daily Activity

The Daily Activity report, located under your “activity” tab, shows all transactions for a single day, including any refunds you’ve issued. To generate a report for a specific date, simply click the Download CSV button. The CSV file includes your gross amount processed, fees assessed, and the net amount scheduled for payout.

Monthly Activity

The Monthly Activity report, located under your “monthly activity” tab, provides a comprehensive view of all daily transactions within a selected month. You can export this report at any time during the month or after the month has closed. Like the Daily Activity report, the CSV file includes your gross amount processed, fees assessed, and the net amount scheduled for payout.

Account Info

Before you can process payments and receive payouts through Boulevard, you’ll need to set up a merchant account. The Account Info tab allows you to set up your account and view your current banking details.

If updates to your banking information are needed, select Update Account.

For more information on submitting or updating your merchant details, review the Submitting Merchant Details article.

Disputes

Within the Disputes tab, you can view all payment disputes submitted by your clients. This section provides a detailed breakdown of new, pending, and resolved disputes, including the case number, disputed order number, dispute date, client information, disputed amount, and current status.

Selecting a case number allows you to review the dispute reason, respond to the dispute, and upload supporting documentation to strengthen your case.

For more information on chargebacks, common dispute reasons, and best practices for responding to disputes, review our Disputes Resolution Center.
