Boulevard can adjust your settings on the backend to adjust the times that show on the online booking widget. This will go through some of the logistics about how the timing feature works and how the slots are chosen.

The scheduling optimization can be adjusted to different time intervals or completely removed (to show ALL available times, even if they will leave gaps in the schedule).

There are different time intervals we can choose (i.e. 30, 60, 90 mins) and what that does is work off of what's already on the books to surface times to your client's booking online. It'll try to fill space but not create gaps in the service providers' schedule (you can set up service duration, processing time, and transition time in the actual service setup).

Example:

If an interval starts at 9:30 AM, and the scheduling optimization is set to 60 minutes, services can only be scheduled at:

  • 9:30 AM

  • 10:30 AM

  • 11:30 AM

  • and so on until the end of the interval.

Intervals do not depend on the duration of the service being scheduled, so if a service is 30 minutes for example it'll always leave a 30-minute gap between services with the above example.
