Overview
Social media is an important tool to help potential clients discover your business. With Boulevard’s Facebook & Instagram Book Now apps, you can easily add a “Book Now” button to both business pages that launch your self-booking overlay where clients can get their appointment on the books.
NOTES:
To connect Boulevard to your Facebook business page and business Instagram account, you'll need to have these both connected in Business Manager on Facebook. You can find out how to do that here.
Your Facebook page must be a Business account.
Your Instagram account must be a Business account. If you have a 'Creator' account, you need to switch this to 'Business' in order to use the booking button process below.
If you’ve used Boulevard’s APIs to create a custom booking experience, the Book Now button only opens Boulevard’s standard booking overlay.
Book Now links can be added to multiple profiles.
Setup from Boulevard
If you set up the integration through Boulevard, you don’t need to go into your Facebook or Instagram pages to finalize the setup.
Navigate to the Apps tab of your Manage Business settings.
Install the Facebook & Instagram Book Now apps.
Select Connect Social App. Note that you must first log in to your Facebook Business Manager account.
If you are already logged into Facebook, select Continue. Select Log into another account if you’d like to connect to a different account.
Select Continue to grant Boulevard permissions.
Choose the Business Manager account where you manage business assets like Facebook Page, pixel, and catalog, and select Continue.
Choose the Facebook page you want to connect to your website and select Continue.
To also add a button to your business’s Instagram page, choose the Instagram business profile and select Continue.
Choose the ad account for your business and select Continue.
Choose the Facebook pixel to use data from the pixel to understand actions on your website and measure the results of your ads and select Continue.
Review the business profiles, accounts, and pixels you’ve chosen and select Continue.
Give Boulevard permission to manage the business extension and select Next.
You’re all set and your Facebook and/or Instagram accounts have a Book Now button that launches your booking overlay.
Go into your Business Manager account and verify that the Action Buttons are turned on.
To remove the Book Now button from your Facebook and/or Instagram pages, select Remove.

Disconnecting the Integrations
To disconnect the integrations through Boulevard, complete the following steps:
Navigate to the Apps tab of your Manage Business settings.
Select Configure on the Facebook & Instagram Book Now app
Select Uninstall.
