The Product Sales by Category report lists product sales as grouped by product category, during a specified time range. This report specifically shows:
Category - category name
Quantity - number of sold products
Cost Value - total Unit Cost/"cost-of-goods" value
Subtotal - pre-tax sales Retail Price total
Tax - Retail Price tax total
Total - Retail Price Subtotal + Tax
