Client Referrals Report |
Overview
The Client Referrals report helps you see how your referral program is performing. It tracks who's referring new clients, what value those referrals are generating, and whether rewards are being issued as expected, so you can validate your referral program end-to-end.
Use this report to identify top referrers, evaluate the sales impact of referred clients, and monitor whether voucher and account credit rewards line up with the value those referrals brought in. It's useful for understanding word-of-mouth impact and auditing program integrity, since you can check that every referred client is correctly linked to a referrer and review acquisition quality through referred clients' sales and appointment activity.

Report Caveats
There are a few important caveats and limitations to be aware of when using this report. Use these details to better understand how the data behaves and how to interpret it correctly.
Caveats | Details and Impact |
Updated vs created date | This report uses each client's created date, while the previous version of this report used their updated date. The created date reflects when the client was first added to the business, so it's the more accurate measure of when a referral actually occurred. Because of this difference, referral counts or date groupings in this report may not match the previous version — this is expected, not an error. |
Primary location attributes may be null for imported data | A client's primary location is normally assigned automatically based on their activity. However, for clients added through a data import, this field is sometimes left blank. If your business imported client data, filtering or grouping this report by location may undercount or exclude those clients, since they won't be attributed to any location. If your totals look lower than expected when filtering by location, this is a likely cause. |
