After a refund has been correctly issued (see Issuing Refunds), the refund details can be seen in the individual order. The order can be located through the checkout window, through the Sales tab, or from the client's history.
PLEASE NOTE: Banks are quick to take money and slow to give it back. Refunds take 5-10 business days to credit to a customer's bank or credit card statement.
- Use one of several options (see Orders and Closeout) to locate the order
- On the right under Payments, review the refund details
- For added clarification, click Print Receipt at the top to view the itemized refund and
- To send proof of refund, save the receipt as a PDF file and email it to the client
IMPORTANT: The large number to the right of the payment method is the total settled amount that the client will have paid after any refunds. In the example above, this client will have paid a total of $100 on the card ending in 4242 once the $75 refund has been credited to their account.
