Boulevard Businesses are given the option to accept gratuity from customers at the time the booking is made. Gratuity Settings can be found under main Manage > Business Details at the bottom of the screen.
If Accept Gratuity is enabled, the option will appear on the customer booking widget (below). If disabled, there will be no mention of gratuity anywhere on the customer booking widget. Customers can always select Cash Tip to skip adding gratuity at the time of booking.
Gratuity that has been added by the customer at the time of booking will appear in the Checkout window. The percentage and dollar amount will be pre-filled. This amount may be changed before final checkout.
Acceptance of gratuity up front is an added convenience for your customers, and helps make for a more streamlined and less awkward in-person checkout. Please note that all gratuity added at the time of booking will be subject to the same credit card processing fees as regular services.
