Package Sales Report

Written by Marie London

We're excited to bring you an expanded reporting experience. If you don't see the reporting features described below, don't worry—this updated reporting experience will become available to your account over time.

Overview

The Package Sales report helps you see how your packages are selling across locations and categories. It breaks down package sales by quantity, discounts, refunds, and net revenue, so you can evaluate demand and performance at the individual package or category level.

Use this report to evaluate which packages and categories are performing best, assess how discounts are affecting sales volume and revenue, and monitor refunds that may signal pricing or fulfillment issues. It's especially useful for informing future bundling and pricing decisions, since you can compare performance across locations and track trends over time to spot seasonality or the impact of a pricing or promo change.

Report Caveats

There are a few important caveats and limitations to be aware of when using this report. Use these details to better understand how the data behaves and how to interpret it correctly.

Caveats

Details and Impact

Package sales create deferred revenue, not earned revenue

A package sale collects cash today for services delivered later. This report shows the sale event; redemptions of the vouchers inside packages appear in the Voucher activity report, not here.

Quantity, clients, and orders are three different counts

Package Quantity Sold counts units, Package Client Count counts distinct buyers, and Order Count counts orders. A client buying two packages in one order adds two units, one client, one order.

Current Package Price is today's price, not the sale price

Current Package Price shows the package's present list price at the location. Historical rows keep their actual transaction amounts, so the two can differ after a price change.
