We're excited to bring you an expanded reporting experience. If you don't see the reporting features described below, don't worry—this updated reporting experience will become available to your account over time.
Overview
When you select Reports on your Boulevard Dashboard, you'll land on the Business summary dashboard by default — a high-level snapshot of key business metrics. From here, use the navigation sidebar to explore and access available dashboards and reports.
Navigation Sidebar
The left sidebar stays visible as you move through the Reports tab, so you can easily switch between dashboards and reports from one place.
From the sidebar, you can:
Switch between the new and original reporting experiences using the Reports toggle.
Admins can use the gear icon to the right of the Reports toggle to control staff access to the original reporting experience.
Access every saved view — your own and any published Business views — from Views.
Access the Business and Sales summary dashboards.
Browse and open reports from the list of Detailed Reports.
Page-Level Controls
At the top right of every page in the Reports tab, you'll see the following elements:
Last data refresh: shows when the report was most recently updated
Most sales reports will refresh within 10 minute intervals and all other reports at 30-45 minute intervals
Export (underlined arrow icon): download the report by selecting a file format and naming your export
You do not need to save a view to export a report. Exported formats include .csv, .xls, .pdf, and .png
Help (question mark icon): access help content specific to the report, submit feedback, or access a guided user tour.
Views
The Views tab is where every saved report configuration lives — the ones you've created and any others published for the business. See Views for details on how to find, use, and manage custom report views.
Summary Dashboards
The Reports tab includes two summary dashboards, accessible from the top of the sidebar:
Business summary dashboard: a high-level view of key business metrics, useful for quick performance checks and period-over-period comparisons
Sales summary dashboard: a focused view of revenue totals and payment processing activity
Both dashboards can be filtered by date range, location, and staff, but cannot be customized beyond those filters.
Detailed Reports
Detailed Reports is where all individual reports are organized, grouped into six categories.
For an overview of what each category covers, see Getting Started with Boulevard Reporting.
For a full breakdown of every available report, see Detailed reports.
To open a report, click a category name to expand it, then select the report you want. Once a report is selected, you can review it as-is or customize and filter the data to focus on what you need. Learn more in Customizing and Filtering Reports. To collapse a category, click the name again.
