Overview

The Location Records report provides a complete view of all business locations configured in your Dashboard. It includes key details for each location, such as name, identifiers, geographic information, groups, and tags.

Use this report to review and organize your location data, ensure records are accurate and consistent, and understand how locations are grouped across your business. It’s especially helpful for auditing setup, managing multi-location operations, and confirming that reporting and segmentation are aligned correctly.

Note: This report focuses on location setup and configuration data only. It does not include sales or other performance metrics.

These use cases can be addressed using the report's default configuration, with no additional setup or customization required.

Prerequisites

Before using this report, make sure the following are in place. These directly impact whether you can access the report and how accurate the data will be.

  1. Permissions: You must have the appropriate reporting permission enabled to see this report: Catalog Reporting > Catalog Records

    • If you don’t see the report, check your permissions first - see Reporting Permissions for more information.

  2. Location and Access Scope: What you see in the report depends on your access:

    • You’ll only see data for assigned locations

    • Row-level access may further limit visible data

    • If it looks like data is missing, verify your location assignments and access settings.

  3. Required Setup: For the report to show meaningful data, your business Locations must be created and set up with individual details per location.
